LABEL MATES FESTIVAL
12 Years ago, Bad Vibrations started our first festival, Label Mates. It ran for 5 editions and then sadly fell by the wayside a bit when we started working on Wide Awake 6 or 7 years back. Time flies.
The concept behind it is pretty simple: collaboration with record labels and some mates.
At LNZRT and Bad Vibrations we love working with musicians, labels, venues, record shops, merch companies, promoters, festivals, DJs, managers, agents, radio shows, magazines, blogs, photographers, artists and all the people and organisations that make up the music industry.
Since starting this festival, a lot of these people have genuinely become our mates and we work with them day to day, so we felt like we should celebrate it all again.
You may recall the last Label Mates was an all-day event across Hackney. It was a great success with 2500 of you rolling in for the day. However, we felt like all the labels and bands clashing with each other was a bit counterproductive and sort of against the point.
We plan to make this a yearly event again, and grow it out into something bigger while increasing the collaboration levels as much as possible.
